Terms & Conditions

The following are terms and conditions for renting apartments.
Some apartments may have their own specific terms and conditions. Those specific terms and conditions will prevail if there is any discrepancy with these general terms and conditions.

RESERVATION PAYMENT:

In order to book the apartment we need a reservation deposit of 30% of the total amount of your stay. The reservation will only be confirmed once the total reservation payment is received.

Payments may be made via bank wire directly into our bank account or online via PayPal. Please not that all wire transfer fees will be charged on your end. An additional option to send the reservation deposit is through Western Union Money Transfer, which has locations in over 190 countries.

As is our policy, your reservation deposit is non-refundable if you cancel or modify the dates of your reservation. In the case of a "No-Show" the reservation will be treated as a cancellation. RentBA will not be held responsible for cancellations or modifications of the dates for ANY REASON

Please verify and confirm your booking dates before making the reservation, since your reservation is only valid for the dates you schedule. Provided you decide to change the previously made reservation dates, deposits related to that reservation dates will not be refunded. If the guest wishes to make a new reservation a new payment will have to be made. 

ADMINISTRATIVE FEE: 

All reservations (no matter how short or long) are subject to a non-refundable $40 USD administrative fee.

CHECK IN / CHECK OUT  TIMES: 



Please in order to calulat the number of nights consider that our check in and check out times are as follows

PLEASE, LET US KNOW, IF YOU NEED TO CHECK IN EARLIER OR LATER. Charges may apply as it may result in blocking the house from being booked by other renters. 

The CHECK-IN/OUT are free of charge, if it is done within the hours of 8 am to 9 pm Mon thru Saturday  Out of that time frame, there is an extra charge of 35 USD.

 

CHECK-IN:  We know what it's like to arrive in Buenos Aires after an all-night flight, so you will be able to check-in upon arrival at anytime.

CHECK-OUT: If the guests would like a later check-out (after 10:00 am), they must reserve the property for an additional day (subject to availability). Note that on the following dates: December 24th , December 25th , December 31st and January 1st there is an additional fee of $50 USD per each check-in / check-out. 

Please bear in mind that after the check-out you can NOT store bags/luggage in the apartment building nor in our office.  Any check in or check out out of our business hours has to be pre arranged before your booking.
We are flexible and are here to help you, but we are not a hotel. We do not guarantee to be able to do any check-in or check-out between 12 am and 8 am unless is previously arranged and at the renter's expense to pay for out of business hours personnel..\

RENTAL AGREEMENT PAYMENT:


At the day of arrival, we will meet you at the apartment to sign the rental contract agreement. At that moment you must pay the full amount remainder and the security deposit and fees if any. All these payments are to be made in CASH in US dollars, Argentinean pesos or euros only. Please be sure to have with you the necessary funds in cash before your arrive at the apartment. The keys will not be turned over until the guest has paid the total amount in full (the rental fee plus the security deposit). Payments for accommodation are non-refundable. If you decide to shorten the length of your stay, previously made payments will not be refunded.

REFUNDABLE SECURITY DEPOSIT:


 When you sign the rental agreement you will also sign a copy of the inventory. The guest will provide a security deposit in CASH, in US dollars, Argentinean pesos or euros that is kept on file until the guest's departure.  The security deposit is returned at the end of the stay, provided that there are no damages and the apartment is left in good condition. Prior to your departure we will schedule a time to meet at the apartment to confirm the apartment's condition and return the deposit. In the case of damages or missing items, the cost will be deducted from the security deposit. If the security deposit does not cover the costs of the damages, the guest must pay the difference. The amount of the refundable security deposit will vary according to the length of your stay and the category of the apartment requested. The amount of the deposit is equivalent to one month rent unless otherwise noted on the agreement. The minimum amount being $400 USD. 

NO-SHOW POLICY & CANCELLATION: 

In the case of a "No-Show" the reservation will be treated as a cancellation. If a guest does not check-in on the reserved date and time (and has not notified RentBA of any delays), the apartment will be released after 12 hours from the check-in time.  Guests will be charged %50 of the rental fees when they cancel with less than 30 days. The advanced payment is not refundable.

DISCLAIMER:
All landlords have the right to decide not to allow tenants into their properties. In the event that this occurs, we will make alternative arrangements for you. The use of the property by more than the number of allowed persons will result in the immediate termination of the rental agreement 
 

CONTENT OF CONTRACT The model of temporary lease that the parties agree to sign is posted on our website.  This contract may be amended only with the consent of both parties
